Triad Tablet contains Amitriptyline as the active ingredient which is a tricyclic antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and treat depression. It also stops the movement of pain signals from nerves to the brain thereby relieving neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
Triad Tablet is used for preventive treatment of migraine, neuropathic pain and depression. It is used in patients intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.
Direction to Use
Common Side Effects of Triad are Sleepiness, Increased heart rate, Dryness in mouth, Weight gain, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Feeling lightheaded, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly; Feeling dizzy; Hard stools (constipation); Change in color of urine to blue or green.
