Topaz contains Topiramate as the active ingredient which is an anticonvulsant (antiepilepsy) drug, used as adjunct in treatment of seizures including refractory seizures, simple and complex partial seizures. It is also used in migraine prophylaxis.
Resistant partial seizures, lennox-gastaut syndrome, generalized tonic-clonic Seizures (GTCS), severe myoclonic epilepsy of infancy, migarine prophylaxis.

Common Side Effects of Topaz are Dizziness, Sleepiness, Nausea, Taste change, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Fatigue, Diarrhoea, Weight loss, Memory impairment.
