NID contains Gliclazide as an active ingredient which is one of a group of medicines called sulfonylureas that are used to lower the blood sugar level. It is used to treat maturity onset diabetes in patients that is not controlled by diet alone. It is not for use in children or in patients with diabetes requiring insulin.

Nid Tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Direction to Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. These tablets should be taken with a glass of water before meals.

Abdominal pain, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Epigastric pain, Flatulence, Nausea, Vomiting, Indigestion.
