Glycomet-GP 1 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Glycomet GP1 Tablet is used for Type 2 diabetes mellitus, Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, Type 2 diabetes, Maturity onset diabetes, Polycystic ovary syndrome and other conditions.
Direction to Use
The common side effects are : anxiety, irritability, sweating, dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness etc. Generally these side effects are mild and go away on their own after a few days. If it doesn’t, then it’s important to seek medical care.
