Cefadrox contains Cefadroxil as the active ingredient which is a First generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin, that arrests bacterial growth by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It has bactericidal activity against rapidly growing organisms.
Cefadrox is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery.

Common Side Effects of Cefadrox are Rash, Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Stomach pain, Nausea, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness).
