Mylod is a calcium channel blocker. In patients with high blood pressure, it works by relaxing blood vessels, so that blood passes through them more easily. In patients with angina, it works by improving blood supply to the heart muscle which then receives more oxygen and as a result chest pain is prevented.

Direction to Use
Swallow the tablets with a glass of water at the same time each day. You can take the tablets either before or after meals. Always take Mylod tablets exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
If you forget to take a tablet, take one as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time to take the next one. Never take two doses together. Take the remaining doses at the correct time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Side Effects
Fatigue, Ankle swelling, Sleepiness, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Headache, Nausea, Dizziness, Palpitations, Edema (swelling), Abdominal pain
