Sucol contains Succinyl Choline Chloride as the active ingredient which is a depolarizing muscle relaxant, used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia. It works by forming a protective layer on the ulcer to serve as a barrier against acid, bile salts, and enzymes in the stomach.

Sucol Injection is indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia, to facilitate tracheal intubation, and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.

Common Side Effects of Sucol are Skin rash, Increased saliva production, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), High blood pressure.
