Ifol XT is an iron supplement. It is used to increase the level of hemoglobin in the body.

Direction to Use
It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, with or without food. If you miss a dose of Ifol-XT, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Ifol-XT is relatively nontoxic in man. Rare instances of allergic responses to Ifol-XT preparations have been reported and have included erythema, skin rash, itching, general malaise, and respiratory difficulty due to bronchospasm.
Gastrointestinal side effects include anorexia, nausea, abdominal distention, flatulence, and a bitter or bad taste.
